Seafood variations of Sugo Alla Carrettiera Tomato and Basil Sauce

- Prepared sauce from Sugo Alla Carrettiera recipe shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups gamberi (shrimps) or cozze (mussels) or aragosta (lobster) shopping list
- 2 tbsp Italian parsley shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry white wine shopping list
- pasta choice: spaghetti shopping list
How to make it
- The preparation is the same with the addition of 1/4 cup dry white wine to step 2 with the parsley.
- The mussels, shrimps or lobster pieces are added to the tomato sauce at the very end of the simmering period.
- Again, red pepper flakes are used in this sauce with amount varying to one's taste of spiciness.
- Top with freshly grated formaggio parmigiano-reggiano.
