Easy White Chocolate and Brownie Torte

- 11-ounces white chocolate broken into pieces shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups heavy cream shopping list
- 9-ounces rich chocolate brownies shopping list
- unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting shopping list
How to make it
- dampen the sides of an 8-inch springform pan and line with a strip of wax paper.
- in small pan put the chocolate. add 2/3 cup of the cream and heat very gently until the is chocolate melted
- stir until smooth , then pour into a bowl and cool
- break the chocolate brownies into chunky pieces and sprinkle these over the base of the springform pan
- pack them down lightly to make a fairly dense base (bottom crust)
- whip the remaining cream until it forms peaks then fold in the white chocolate mixture
- spoon into pan to cover the layer of brownies
- tap the pan gently on the counter to level the white chocolate mixture
- cover and freeze overnight
- trans fer the torte to the refrigerator about 45 minutes before serving to soften slightly.
- decorate with a light dusting of unsweetened cocoa powder just before serving
- for extra decoration put a few fresh berries around the edge and in the middle
