How to make it

  • Put raisins in a bowl; cover with boiling water and soak til plump (10 minutes or so)
  • Remove raisins from water and transfer to food processor bowl (save water)
  • Add figs, apricots and dates. Process til finely chopped (about 1 minute)
  • Remove to a bowl and stir in peanut butter, chocolate chips and cinnamon.
  • If too dry, add up to 2 T. of the raisin-soaking liquid.
  • Roll into one inch balls with wet hands.
  • Roll in coconut or cocoa.
