Nancys Chili Mac WW Friendly

- 12 oz. 95% lean ground beef shopping list
- 1 cup chopped onions shopping list
- 1 (14.5 oz) can of Mexican style tomatoes shopping list
- 1 (8oz) can of tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 (4oz) can of diced green chilies shopping list
- 1 tsp chili powder shopping list
- 4 oz. uncooked whole wheat elbow macaroni (I use mini penne) shopping list
- 1 can pinto beans, undrained shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1/4 cup shredded fat free cheddar cheese (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Spray a large skillet with cooking spray. Cook ground beef and onion until browned. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, green chilies and chili powder; bring to a boil. Stir in macaroni, beans and water. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until macaroni is tender, about 10 minutes. Spoon into bowls and top with 1 Tbs. cheese.
