SALSA BURGERS This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Olsen Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/3 cup chunky salsa
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl then form into 6 patties.
  2. Layer patties in some aluminum foil and refrigerate to firm up.
  3. Broil grill or bake to desired doneness.
