Glazed Cornished Hens Recipe

	Pintobean / All my dishes 2 years, 5 months ago Cornish game hens are just personal chickens. Glazed, roasted, or stuffed. We stuff these with almond rice mix one for each of us. Ingredients

6 cornish game hens

salt & pepper

1/2 cup melted butter

1/2 cup good white wine

1 12oz can apricot nectar

2 tsp bitters

Directions

Defrost hens and remove giblets.Sprinkle with salt & pepper inside and out.; truss and place on foil in shallow roasting pan.Combine remaining ingredients. Brush glaze over hens . Roast in 350 degree preheated oven for 45- 50 min. or until tender , brushing every 10 min. with glaze. Garnish and serve hot 1 per person.

Option--- Boil giblets make rice and gravy with stock .Mix favorite seasonings to rice and stuff birds. Serve 1 per person and pass gravy boat filled with giblet gravy.
