How to make it

  • Dredge fruit with 1/2 cup flour.
  • Beat well - sugar, shortening, eggs and flavoring.
  • Sft 4 cups flour with dry ingrediants together and add gradually to the first mixture.
  • Add fruits and nuts. Mix with hands and form into rolls.
  • Store in the freezer.
  • When ready to bake, slice 1/4 inch thick and bake in a 375 oven for 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
