A wonderful cookie. Makes dozens and dozens. Great for gift giving, cookie exchanges, bake sales, You can bake as much or little as you want. Frezes up to sx months.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 lb. white raisiins
  • 1 lb. candied dherries
  • 1 lb. green and red pinnapple
  • 1 lb. pecans chopped
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 cups ssugar
  • 1 lb. butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract

Directions
  1. Dredge fruit with 1/2 cup flour.
  2. Beat well - sugar, shortening, eggs and flavoring.
  3. Sft 4 cups flour with dry ingrediants together and add gradually to the first mixture.
  4. Add fruits and nuts. Mix with hands and form into rolls.
  5. Store in the freezer.
  6. When ready to bake, slice 1/4 inch thick and bake in a 375 oven for 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
