A good old fashioned cookie that tastes better than Dad's . Recipe taken from "Eat Your Heart Out" cookbook.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • Cream wth 1/2 cup butter.
  • Combine and beat until smooth: 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 Tbsp. milk .
  • Sift together and add to the above: 1 cup flour, 1/2 tsp. soda, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt. Beat together until smooth.
  • Add: 1 cup rolled oats and ONE of the following: 6 onz. choccolate chips, 1 cup raisins, nuts, coconut.

Directions
  1. Beat well. Drop on greased cookie sheet 2" apart.
  2. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes
