How to make it

  • Wash and drain fresh spinach. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add spinach, onion and garlic; cook and stir until spinach is wilted or defrosted and onion is soft.
  • Cut cream cheese into cubes; add to spinach. Cover and cook until cheese softens, about 5 minutes. Stir to mix, and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
