Ingredients
  • 400 grams fresh mushrooms
  • 2 tsp plain flour
  • 2 onion, grated
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dhaniya-jeera powder
  • 2 tsp kasuri methi
  • 5 tsp oil
  • 4 tsp fresh cream
  • salt to taste For the ginger-garlic paste
  • a piece of ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 tsp chopped corriander for topping

Directions
  1. Wash the mushrooms and cut in halves. Sprinkle the flour and keep aside. Heat the oil and fry the onions till brown in colour. Add the ginger-garlic paste and fry again.
  2. Add the garam masala, chilli powder and dhaniya-jeera powder and fry again. Prepare tomato puree by putting the tomatoes into hot water for 10-15 mins and then grating into a pulp. Add the tomato puree and fry again. Add the mushrooms, kasuri methi and salt and cook for a few minutes. Sprinkle a little water while cooking.
  3. Finally, add the cream and mix well. Sprinkle the coriander on top
