How to make it

  • Melt butter in pyrex, or corningware dish,add rice.
  • Stir til butter is melted, rice is blended.
  • Add can of consomme, stir to blend.
  • Place lid on top, reduce heat to med. low.
  • Cook til all liquid is not visible on top of rice.
  • Leave lid on,turn off heat, let "steam" approx 5 min.
  • Add mushrooms at same time as consomme, if desired.
