Kitchen Witch’s Bleu Cheese Burgers

We are bleu cheese lovers and there is so much you can do with it.

Here is one of the recipes I put together and everyone really enjoys them!

My “measurements are “close” - I do not measure for many things! (sorry)

For about 3 lbs ground round, I use ¼ lb bleu cheese (crumbled), and about ½ c fresh chives (minced) and a couple shakes of the hot pepper sauce. Add a teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, fresh cracked black pepper and salt to taste. Add 1 teaspoon dry mustard and mix well; cover and refrigerate for a couple hours to allow the flavors to meld.

Heat up the grill (gas, charcoal or electric). Form into patties until done. We like our well-done - so it’s your call.

Serve on toasted hearty buns and top as you please.
