this is a recipe that I found out on the web... I'm not sure where but it sure looks good... I like my pumpernickel bread with raisins in it rather than the caraway seeds... but that is a local favorite maybe... when I was upstate in NY the bakeries ... More

Ingredients
  • 1-1/3 cup strong coffee
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup rye flour
  • 2 cup bread flour
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons caraway seeds
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1-1/3 teaspoons salt
  • 2-1/2 teaspoons bread maker yeast

Directions
  1. Fill and bake according to bread machine manufacturer's directions
