Sauteed Broccoli Pasta Recipe
A quick and easy side dish that goes great with chicken, pork, or beef. I like the crunch from the broccoli with the tender pasta and the little touch of heat from the pepper flakes.

Ingredients
  • ¼ c. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 ½ c. fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 large cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 pkg. fettuccine (9 oz.)
  • ⅓ c. freshly grated Romano cheese

Directions
  1. Prepare pasta according to package directions; be sure to salt the water well. Drain and keep warm.
  2. While pasta is cooking, heat oil in large skillet. Add broccoli, garlic, and crushed red pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, until broccoli is crisp-tender.
  3. Add pasta; toss to coat well. Sprinkle with cheese; toss lightly. Serve immediately.
