How to make it

  • THE DAY BEFORE:
  • Mix all ingredients except bread, pecans, and butter in a bowl.
  • Coat bottom of a 13" x 9" glass baking dish with cooking spray or butter. Place bread in a single layer in dish.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread. Turn bread to coat other side. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • DAY OF:
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Sprinkle chopped pecans over bread and drizzle with melted butter.
  • Bake 20 - 25 min. or until puffy and golden.
  • Serve with maple syrup.
