- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans shopping list
- 1 (15.5 ounce) can black-eyed peas shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried onion flakes shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon prepared brown mustard shopping list
- 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the black beans and black-eyed peas with their juices. Season with garlic powder, cumin, ginger, salt, onion flakes, mustard, and hot pepper sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer for about 20 minutes to combine the flavors.
