Linguine with Bolognese Sauce

- 1 tablespoon olive oil shopping list
- 1 cup finely chopped onion shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped celery shopping list
- 1/4 cup finely chopped (or shredded) carrot shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced shopping list
- 8 ounces lean ground beef shopping list
- 1 (15-ounce) can crushed tomatoes in puree shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1/3 cup dry red wine shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasonings shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon beef bouillon shopping list
- 1 (9-ounce) package linguine shopping list
How to make it
- Heat olive oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Add onion, celery, carrot, and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 to 4 minutes or until tender.
- Add beef; cook, stirring occasionally, for 4 to 5 minutes or until beef is no longer pink.
- Stir in tomatoes with juice, water, wine, Italian seasonings and bouillon; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 to 15 minutes or until flavors are blended.
- Prepare pasta according to package directions.
- Serve sauce over pasta.
