How to make it

  • Powder oats in a mixer.
  • Add salt and water to the powdered oats. Make dough and make small balls.
  • Boil milk and let it cool.
  • Dissolve jaggery in water and filter to pure.
  • Boil water in a large pan and drop the oat-balls in it. When the balls are cooked it starts floating.
  • Filter it and keep the balls aside.
  • Mix the jaggery solution with the filtered water. Also add cardamom, ground dry ginger and salt. Boil the mixture.
  • After boiling, cool it and then add the milk.
  • Put half a cup of the oat-balls and add the milk-mixture. Serve.
