Ingredients
  • Oats - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 ltr
  • Grated Coconut - 1 tbsp
  • Dry ginger - a small piece (ground)
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Jaggery - 1 cup
  • Salt - as required

Directions
  1. Powder oats in a mixer.
  2. Add salt and water to the powdered oats. Make dough and make small balls.
  3. Boil milk and let it cool.
  4. Dissolve jaggery in water and filter to pure.
  5. Boil water in a large pan and drop the oat-balls in it. When the balls are cooked it starts floating.
  6. Filter it and keep the balls aside.
  7. Mix the jaggery solution with the filtered water. Also add cardamom, ground dry ginger and salt. Boil the mixture.
  8. After boiling, cool it and then add the milk.
  9. Put half a cup of the oat-balls and add the milk-mixture. Serve.
