Old Fashioned Pumpkin Pie With Honey Ginger Cream Dated 1967

- 1 stick or 1/2 packet pie crust mix shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 16 ounce can pumpkin shopping list
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves shopping list
- 13 ounce can evaporated milk shopping list
- honey ginger Cream: shopping list
- 2 cups chilled whipping cream shopping list
- 1/4 cup honey shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 425 degrees.
- Prepare pastry for 9” one crust pie as directed on package.
- Beat eggs slightly with rotary beater then beat in remaining ingredients.
- Pour into pastry lined pie pan then bake 15 minutes then reduce heat to 350 and bake 45 minutes.
- Cool and serve with honey ginger cream.
- For cream beat chilled whipping cream until stiff then gradually add honey and ginger.
- Chill 2 hours before serving.
