How to make it

  • Measure sugar, flour, cinnamon, and ginger into large bowl and stir together.
  • Add pears and raisins and mix together with a spoon.
  • Pour fruit mixture into unbaked pie shell.
  • Sprinkle lime juice over top.
  • Dampen edges and pay top crust over, trim and seal. Cut some slits in the top.
  • Sprinkle with remaining granulated sugar
  • Bake on bottom rack of 360 F oven until crust is browned and pears are cooked through.
