Pear and Raisin Pie

- Pastry for two crusts (your own, a mix, or frozen, whatever floats your boat) shopping list
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 tbsp plus 1 tsp all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ginger shopping list
- 8 pears peeled, seeded and diced shopping list
- 3/4 cup raisins shopping list
- 1 tbsp lime juice shopping list
- 1/2 tsp granulated sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Measure sugar, flour, cinnamon, and ginger into large bowl and stir together.
- Add pears and raisins and mix together with a spoon.
- Pour fruit mixture into unbaked pie shell.
- Sprinkle lime juice over top.
- Dampen edges and pay top crust over, trim and seal. Cut some slits in the top.
- Sprinkle with remaining granulated sugar
- Bake on bottom rack of 360 F oven until crust is browned and pears are cooked through.
