I have written this the way recipe said but look close at this one.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter (soft)
- 2 eggs (mix well)
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. sugar (add little at a time)
- 2 c. flour
Directions
- Put 1/2 dough into 8 X 12 pan, spread 1 small jar or 1 cup of apricot preserves, spread remainder of dough on top in little dabs.
- Cut when hot, but do not remove from pan until cool.
- Bake at 325 45 or 50 minutes.
