  • 6 oz. Tuna
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1/2 Pear-very ripe
  • Grape tomatoes (as many as you like)
  • 1 Toe minced garlic (i used purple garlic)
  • 1 TBS Olive oil
  • 3 TBS Balsamic vinegar
  • Course ground black pepper
  • 2 TBS Crumbled feta cheese

Directions
  1. Chop onion very fine
  2. Mince garlic
  3. Slice tomatoes if you like
  4. Cube the pear
  5. Add all ingredients to tuna and toss

This sounds good! Better than the old tuna salad.


Thanks! The purple garlic tasted fantastic in this; The Balsamic complements the pear and ties it all together. Normally I would use red wine vinegar, but since onion and garlic can be pungent balsamic was perfect. This dish is an excellent for losing weight and promoting good cholesterol.
