I made this up one night when i had some leftover frozen spaghetti sauce in the freezer and wanted an easy an inexpensive dinner.

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs bone-in chicken, cut up and skin removed
  • 28 oz spaghetti sauce (I usually use homemade, but feel free to use store bought)

Directions
  1. Place chicken and sauce in a dutch oven and bring to a boil
  2. Reduce heat to medium low cover and simmer 1 hour
  3. Remove chicken pieces from pot with a pair of tongs and shred off chicken with 2 forks
  4. Return meat to sauce and serve over rice or pasta
