How to make it

  • Mix together the all-bran, dates and boiling water and allow to stand.
  • Cream butter, sugar and eggs one at a time
  • Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
  • Mix remaining ingredients together. Add bran last.
  • Bake in muffin tins 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees
  • Batter can be kept in the refridgerator up to a month.
  • This recipe can be halved.
  • NOTE: i omit the dates and add fruit such as bananas, blueberries, saskatoons, etc.
