Refrigerator Bran Muffins Recipe
Now you can have fresh from the oven muffins everyday. This recipe makes volumns of bran muffins. You can do the batch all at once or refridgerate it for up to a month. Be creative and add what ever fruit you desire.

Ingredients
  • 6 Cups All Bran flakes
  • 1 lb. chopped dates
  • 2 Cups boiling water
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 quart buttermilk
  • 5 Cups flour
  • 1 tsp,. salt
  • 2 Cups of sugar
  • 5 tsp. soda
  • 5 eggs

Directions
  1. Mix together the all-bran, dates and boiling water and allow to stand.
  2. Cream butter, sugar and eggs one at a time
  3. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
  4. Mix remaining ingredients together. Add bran last.
  5. Bake in muffin tins 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees
  6. Batter can be kept in the refridgerator up to a month.
  7. This recipe can be halved.
  8. NOTE: i omit the dates and add fruit such as bananas, blueberries, saskatoons, etc.
