Big Easy Chicken

- 1 store bought deli roasted chicken, skin and bones removed shopping list
- 1/4 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 3 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 cup frozen okra shopping list
- 1 jar(16oz) Tostitos chunky Medium salsa shopping list
- 2 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup burgundy shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- 2 cups cooked Uncle Bens rice or order a large container of steamed white rice from your local Chinese restaurant! shopping list
How to make it
- Remove skin and bones from chicken and chop meat into bite size pieces.
- Combine chicken,butter and broth in Medium or large pot and bring to a boil.
- Add Okra and salsa, lower heat to Medium high and cook for 5 minutes.
- Whisk flour into burgundy and stir into chicken mixture.
- Cover and cook over low/medium heat 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over hot rice.
