Chicken paprikas

- 2 large onions- chopped shopping list
- 2 tbs lard shopping list
- 4 pound chicken,or favorite parts shopping list
- 1 tsp salt or to taste shopping list
- 1-1/2 paprika shopping list
- 1 yellow or red paprika- sliced shopping list
- pinch of black pepper shopping list
- 10 med.potatoes-pilled cut in helf shopping list
How to make it
- Use a 4-5 quart heavy casserole with a tight fitting lid.
- Cook the onions in the lard.
- Covered over low heat about 15 minutes,
- This should become almost pasty,but not browned.
- Add chicken,salt ,sliced pepper,black pepper and cook.
- Covered for about 3o minutes, stir in paprika, potatoes,
- Add 1 liter of water,
- Cook, covered, over very low heat, until chicken and potatoes soft
- and tender. injoy
