How to make it

  • Use a 4-5 quart heavy casserole with a tight fitting lid.
  • Cook the onions in the lard.
  • Covered over low heat about 15 minutes,
  • This should become almost pasty,but not browned.
  • Add chicken,salt ,sliced pepper,black pepper and cook.
  • Covered for about 3o minutes, stir in paprika, potatoes,
  • Add 1 liter of water,
  • Cook, covered, over very low heat, until chicken and potatoes soft
  • and tender. injoy
