How to make it

  • Cut the veal into 1 inch dice.
  • Melt lard in a heavy casserole and fry onions until it is light brown.
  • Mix in veal,salt,black pepper,vegeta,paprika
  • Cover,and start cooking over very low heat.
  • The secret of this dish is to let meat cook in in the steam,
  • From it's own juices,and the juices of the onion.
  • Just before the stew starts burning,add 2 cup water.
  • Keep cooking .
  • Meanwhile ,blanch tomatoe,peel and dice.
  • When meat is beginning to get soft.
  • In 20-30 minutes,dipending on the age of the veal.
  • Continue to add water bit by bit as needed,
  • When meat nice and soft add tomatoes,yellow paprika, and
  • banana pepper
  • mix and cook for another 20-30 minutes.
  • The texture must be achieved without any thickening.
  • Serve with dumplings or mash potatoes.Enjoy
