Steam Fish In Mustard Sauce Recipe
A dish which is can be prepared using pressure cooker or you can bake it. I always pressure cook to keep the rich flavour intact!

Ingredients
  • Fish – 6 pc (any fish preferably cut in ring )
  • Mustard powder or sauce ( 2 tsp)
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Ginger paste 1 tsp
  • Garlic flakes 6 cut in to halves
  • Onion 3 medium sized cut in to rings
  • Lemon juice- 2 tsp
  • Lemon peel cut in to shreds( for flavor only)
  • Tomato – 2 ripe cut in to rings without the seeds
  • Salt as per taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves- chopped finely 1/2 cup
  • Mustard oil- 1 tsp
  • Red chilli paste 1/4 tsp
  • Green chilli – 4 ( you can add more or less) cut in to long slits

Directions
  1. Wash the fish pieces and drain the water.
  2. .Add garlic paste ,ginger paste , salt, lemon juice, chilli paste to fish piece. Mix so that pieces are coated well with the mixture.
  3. Transfer the fish pcs along with the mixture to a cooker separator ( any container can also be used which can be accommodated in 5 lit sized pressure cooker)
  4. Add mustard oil, tomato rings , onion rings and green chilli at the top and also the lemon peel shreds.
  5. Place a grid on the pressure cooker and add water just to submerge the grid slightly.
  6. Place the cooker in flame. After 3- 4 whistle when you get the aroma of fish getting steamed turn of the gas. Turn off the gas.
  7. Serve hot garnishing with chopped coriander leaves
