Steam Fish In Mustard Sauce

- fish – 6 pc (any fish preferably cut in ring ) shopping list
- mustard powder or sauce ( 2 tsp) shopping list
- garlic paste 1 tsp shopping list
- ginger paste 1 tsp shopping list
- garlic flakes 6 cut in to halves shopping list
- onion 3 medium sized cut in to rings shopping list
- Lemon juice- 2 tsp shopping list
- lemon peel cut in to shreds( for flavor only) shopping list
- tomato – 2 ripe cut in to rings without the seeds shopping list
- salt as per taste shopping list
- Fresh coriander leaves- chopped finely 1/2 cup shopping list
- Mustard oil- 1 tsp shopping list
- Red chilli paste 1/4 tsp shopping list
- Green chilli – 4 ( you can add more or less) cut in to long slits shopping list
How to make it
- Wash the fish pieces and drain the water.
- .Add garlic paste ,ginger paste , salt, lemon juice, chilli paste to fish piece. Mix so that pieces are coated well with the mixture.
- Transfer the fish pcs along with the mixture to a cooker separator ( any container can also be used which can be accommodated in 5 lit sized pressure cooker)
- Add mustard oil, tomato rings , onion rings and green chilli at the top and also the lemon peel shreds.
- Place a grid on the pressure cooker and add water just to submerge the grid slightly.
- Place the cooker in flame. After 3- 4 whistle when you get the aroma of fish getting steamed turn of the gas. Turn off the gas.
- Serve hot garnishing with chopped coriander leaves
