Ingredients
  • 3 Cups of Instant Brown Rice
  • 2 1/2 Cups Chicken or Vegi Broth
  • 1 Sm can of Mushrooms
  • 2 Cups chopped Chicken or Turkey
  • 1/2 tsp Onion powder
  • 3/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt

Directions
  1. Throw it all together and simmer on Med-Low until rice is tender.
  2. This can also be made using regular brown rice just check the pkg for cooking times.
  3. It's also great for after Thanksgiving when you have all of that turkey and no clue how to use it all up. Freeze it for pot pie or make this!

I agree that from scratch is more healthful than commercial convenience mixes.
