Ingredients
  • 1 pound fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 peeled , cored and chopped apple
  • 2 cups molasses
  • 1 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp allspice

Directions
  1. Combine cranberries and apples and 1 teacup of water. bring to boil and boil over medium heat until berries pop
  2. Add spices and molasses reduce heat and simmer on low heat until the berries are reduced to half what beginning amount was.
  3. bottle and seal as if making jam
  4. Serve with French ice cream or fresh cream
  5. Can be used as a filling or as is for a nice dessert
