Everyone who likes small deserts, such as cookies, will absolutely fall in love with this desert! Its easy to make and its extremely enjoyble!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2 1-oune squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanlla
  • 1/2 cup butermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted all-pupose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 6-ounce package(1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Mocha Frosting

Directions
  1. melt shorteneing and unsweetened chocolate squares together in sauce pan
  2. let cool 10 minutes
  3. stir in brown sugar
  4. beat in the egg, vanilla, and buttermilk
  5. sift together dry ingrediants and add to chocolate mixture
  6. stir in nuts and chocolate pieces
  7. drop from teaspoon on greased cookie sheet
  8. bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes
  9. remove from pan and cool
  10. frost with mocha frosting
  11. top with walnut(optional)
  12. makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies
