Chops With Mushroom Gravy Recipe
This is a very easy dish to make. The pork chops come out very tender and then you have the rich gravy to put over your mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 6 boneless pork loin chops (3/4-1-in. thick)
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 can (4-oz.) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 2 cups milk
  • Hot Mashed Potatoes

Directions
  1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first 4 ingredients.
  2. Add pork chops, one at a time; toss to coat.
  3. Set remaining flour mixture aside.
  4. In a large skillet, saute chops in butter until golden brown; transfer to a greased 13x9x2-in. baking dish.
  5. In the same skillet, saute onion, green pepper and mushrooms until tender.
  6. Stir in reserved flour mixture; gradually add milk until blended.
  7. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
  8. Remove from the heat.
  9. Pour over chops.
  10. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
  11. Serve with hot mashed potatoes.
