Chops with Mushroom Gravy

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp. paprika shopping list
- 6 boneless pork loin chops (3/4-1-in. thick) shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 med. onion, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper shopping list
- 1 can (4-oz.) mushroom stems and pieces, drained shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- Hot mashed potatoes shopping list
How to make it
- In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first 4 ingredients.
- Add pork chops, one at a time; toss to coat.
- Set remaining flour mixture aside.
- In a large skillet, saute chops in butter until golden brown; transfer to a greased 13x9x2-in. baking dish.
- In the same skillet, saute onion, green pepper and mushrooms until tender.
- Stir in reserved flour mixture; gradually add milk until blended.
- Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
- Remove from the heat.
- Pour over chops.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
- Serve with hot mashed potatoes.
