Shrimp In Beer - Butter Sauce Recipe
This quick recipe is perfect for an appetizer served by itself or a full meal served over baked spaghetti squash to soak up the awesome sauce.

Ingredients
  • 2 Lbs. of shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • 4 Tbs. of unsalted butter
  • 1 Tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 Tsp. dried basil
  • 1 Tsp. dried oregano
  • 2 Tsp. garlic, minced
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper, more if you like it spicy
  • 1/2 Tsp of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1/2 Cup of beer, don't use light beer if you can avoid it

Directions
  1. Saute garlic and herbs in butter over medium until garlic is slightly browned.
  2. Add shrimp and stir constantly until they are pink and done. Do not over cook.
  3. Pour in beer. simmer 1 minute more
  4. Serve with lots of French bread if you are not watching your carbs or over spaghetti squash, halved and seeded, baked for 30 minutes if you are carb consious.
