Grilled Hotdogs

- 6 hotdogs or sausages - you can use flavored ones if you like shopping list
- 6 thin baguettes split and cut to length of frankfurters or sausages; or hot dog buns. shopping list
- Assorted toppings, such as pickles, Fresh Kraut, relish, onions... shopping list
- Mayo - Optional shopping list
How to make it
- Hotdogs or fully cooked sausages: Place Hotdogs or sausages on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium heat; grill for 3 to 7 minutes or until heated through, turning once halfway through grilling.
- Uncooked sausages: Prick sausages with a fork. Place sausages on grill rack over a drip pan. Cover and grill for 20 to 30 minutes or until temperature reads 160 degree F on an instant-read thermometer inserted horizontally into sausage.
- Place hotdogs or sausages in buns. Spoon on assorted toppings.
- *To Toast Buns: Spread a little mayo or butter on the buns, grill directly over medium heat about 1 minute, watch carefully, they can burn quickly.

Definately got me thinking about summer. We started getting warmer weather in Vancouver so I am definately looking at using the bbq more. Cheers Daria
