Transparent Pie

I hope this bakes enough that there is not a problem with the eggs and meringue.
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. white sugar shopping list
- 1/4 lb. butter or one stick shopping list
- 3 heaping Tbsps. flour shopping list
- Cook filling to warm and sugar dissolves, cool, and mix shopping list
- 1 c. whole milk, 3 egg yolks in milk shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla added to above, never let filling boil shopping list
- Put in uncooked pie shell shopping list
How to make it
- Beat the three egg whites into meringue and spread on cooked pie, bake meringue at 350 for 5 minutes and reduce heat to 300 and finish browning meringue.
