Ingredients
  • 1pt heavy cream
  • 3-4 oz sweetened chestnut puree
  • 8 oz plain chocolate
  • 4 oz caster sugar
  • 2 oz brandy
  • 2 tbs water
  • 6 brandysnap baskets
  • vanilla ess

Directions
  1. melt chocolate in glass bowl over hot water
  2. stir in brandy and water, set aside in warm
  3. whip the cream vanilla and sugar together to soft peak
  4. fold 1/3 of cream into chestnut puree
  5. very lightly combine all to give a coarse marble effect
  6. allow to set firm in fridge
  7. using a small serving/ large dessert spoon dipped in hot water draw it accross the marble cream to produce an egg shape(like curling butter) put straight into brandysnap baskets 3-4 per basket, decorate as you will, fresh raspberries are good as is chocolate sauce(just make more of the choc,brandy,water mix)
