Sweet Onion Sausage Casserole

This dish can be made ahead to serve for a brunch or makes a great potluck dish. Hot sausage can also be used for a spicer dish.
Ingredients
- 5 medium sweet onions, scliced shopping list
- 12 Ritz crackers, crushed shopping list
- 1 pound sausage meant browned in a skillet and drained shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp seasoning salt shopping list
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated shopping list
- 1 small jar pimento shopping list
How to make it
- put half the onions in bottom of 12 x 7 dish
- sprinkle Ritz crackers on top of onions
- Add sausage meat
- On top of the sausage put the rest of the onions
- pour creamof mushroom soup over all of this
- add salt and seasoning salt
- sprinlke layer of cheese and pimento
- bake in preheated 400 degree oven for an hour.
