How to make it

  • Combine sugar, water, flour and egg yolks and cook until thick.
  • Add butter, vinegar and nutmeg to baked pie shell.
  • Cover with meringue and bake until meringue is brown.
  • Six servings.

    This sounds like the one my MIL used to make (without the meringue). It tasted like lemon.
