How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 190/GM5
  • Grease and line a deep cake tin
  • Cream the marge and the sugar
  • Beat the eggs in a seperate bowl
  • Add the eggs to the mixture and beat well to avoid curdling (I always add them in slowly to avoid curdling and to acheive the best results
  • Add the flour and the spices into the mixture and mix well
  • Add all the other ingrediants and mix until smooth
  • Pour into the cake tin
  • Bake in oven for 1 hour or untill golden brown
