Soup Cake

- 100g Marge shopping list
- 1 cup of sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups Plain flour shopping list
- 1 cup of raisins shopping list
- 1 cup of nuts (optional) shopping list
- 1 small tin of Heinz tomato soup (must be Heinze) shopping list
- vanilla essence shopping list
- 1 teaspoon each: ground cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, bi-carb & baking powder shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 190/GM5
- Grease and line a deep cake tin
- Cream the marge and the sugar
- Beat the eggs in a seperate bowl
- Add the eggs to the mixture and beat well to avoid curdling (I always add them in slowly to avoid curdling and to acheive the best results
- Add the flour and the spices into the mixture and mix well
- Add all the other ingrediants and mix until smooth
- Pour into the cake tin
- Bake in oven for 1 hour or untill golden brown
