Pizzaria Unos Rattlesnake Pasta

- 4 boneless chicken breast halves, cubed shopping list
- 2 to 3 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasonong, or to taste shopping list
- 16 ounces penne pasta shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste shopping list
- 3/4 teaspoon ground white pepper shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 1 cup (or more) half and half shopping list
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated shopping list
- 8 ounces monterey jack cheese, shredded shopping list
- 1 (4 ounce) jar jalapeno peppers in juice, sliced shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- In large skillet over medium heat, saute chicken cubes in 2 to 3 tablespoons butter, 2 cloves mined garlic and Italian seasoning.
- Saute until chicken juices run clear.
- Remove from skillet with slotted spoon and set aside.
- Add 4 tablespoons butter to skillet. Melt.
- Add garlic and saute 1 minute.
- Stir in flour, 1 teaspoon salt and white pepper. Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Slowly add milk and half and half. Cook, stirring, until thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan and Monterey Jack cheese. Stir until melted.
- Add jalapeno peppers and chicken. Taste. Adjust "heat" with jalapeno juice.
- Add sauce to cooked pasta.
