BACON WRAPPED BEEF PATTIES This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Park Estate in Irving, Texas in 1984.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small white onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 5 bacon slices

Directions
  1. Mix ground beef, onion, parsley, salt and pepper then form into thick patties.
  2. Wrap bacon strips around patties and secure with toothpicks.
  3. Place on grill over white coals and cook 10 minutes per side.
  4. Brush with your favorite barbecue sauce and serve.
