BEEF AND CORN PASTA SHELL DELIGHT This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Conan Estate in Seagoville, Texas in 1992.

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 pounds ground lean beef
  • 3 quarts spaghetti sauce
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms
  • 17 ounce whole kernel corn
  • 1 pound pasta shells
  • 1/4 cup white onion chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions
  1. Brown beef in a large frying pan.
  2. Add spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, corn, sliced mushrooms and chopped onion.
  3. Simmer until mushrooms are cooked then add seasonings and continue to simmer.
  4. In a large pot cook shells and drain well the mix sauce with shells and serve.
