- 4 pounds beef roast cubed shopping list
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup cooking oil shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic crushed shopping list
- 1 cup chopped white onions shopping list
- 3/4 cup thinly sliced celery shopping list
- 16 ounces tomato sauce shopping list
- 2 cans lemon lime soda shopping list
- 1 beef bouillon cube shopping list
- 2 tablespoons snipped parsley shopping list
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon marjoram shopping list
- 1 teaspoon thyme shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 1 pound mushrooms quartered shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
How to make it
- Sprinkle meat with seasoned salt.
- Heat oil and 2 tablespoons butter in large skillet then add meat and brown well.
- Blend in flour then stir in all remaining ingredients except butter and mushrooms.
- Reduce heat and simmer 3 hours then remove excess fat.
- Fifteen minutes before serving melt butter in separate skillet.
- Add mushrooms and cook until tender stirring occasionally.
- Mix mushrooms into meat mixture then turn onto heated platter.
