How to make it

  • Sprinkle meat with seasoned salt.
  • Heat oil and 2 tablespoons butter in large skillet then add meat and brown well.
  • Blend in flour then stir in all remaining ingredients except butter and mushrooms.
  • Reduce heat and simmer 3 hours then remove excess fat.
  • Fifteen minutes before serving melt butter in separate skillet.
  • Add mushrooms and cook until tender stirring occasionally.
  • Mix mushrooms into meat mixture then turn onto heated platter.
