Pumpkin Bars Recipe

How to make it

  • Mix and sift flour, salt, soda, and spices.
  • Beat eggs, add sugar gradually and beat well.
  • Add oil, dates, nuts, and mix.
  • Add sifted ingredinents, alternately with pumpkin to egg mixture, mixing just enough to keep batter smooth.
  • Pour into greased pan (9 x 9 x 2).
  • Bake at 350 degree oven about 30 minutes.
  • Cool 5 minutes and frost.

  • Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese; softened
  • 1 c. sifted confectioners sugar
  • Mash cheese, add sugar gradually and mix well.
