Ingredients
  • 4 Whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 can fat-free refried beans
  • 1/2 cup low-fat sour cream (only 2 g fat per serving)
  • 8 oz. 7% fat lean ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic pressed
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped
  • *Optional: tomatoes, additional hot sauce, or lowfat cheese

Directions
  1. Cook ground beef and garlic on medium heat until cooked
  2. Add refried beans and stir until warm
  3. Divide bean/beef mixture onto tortillas
  4. Add sour cream, salsa and lettuce
  5. Fold and enjoy!
  6. Feel free to omit beef or substitute for chicken

This recipe is Great! First off I'm a huge fan of Whole wheat tortilla's! They rock and are so full of flavor! Great recipe!


I agree. I didn't think I would like whole wheat tortillas, but I made chicken enchiladas with them once and I was hooked. Also these are basically a Taco Bell Burrito Supreme minus the cheese. Thanks for sharing. It's a keeper.

Sounds delicious! Can't wait to try it. Also, Friendship brand fat free sour cream is AMAZING in case anyone wants to cut out a few more calories and some fat :)


I might substitude 4 oz (1/2 c) brown rice in place of half the ground beef, and add 1 pkg taco seasoning. I'm really hungry now.
