A fantasticly delicious smoothie. Super easy to make. Slim Smoothies.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened Apple Juice
  • 1 to 2 tsp. Honey (or to taste), optional
  • 1 cup Blackberries
  • 1/2 cup diced Banana

Directions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and mix by using the on/off pulse function until the ingredients are mostly blended.
  2. Continue mixing, gradually increasing the speed, until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour into a glass and garnish with an Apple Chip if desired.
  4. Apple Chips:
  5. 16-20 servings
  6. 1 Granny Smith or Golden Delicious Apple, unpeeled and uncored
  7. 4 cups Cold Water
  8. 1/4 cup fresh Lemon Juice
  9. 2 cups granulated Sugar
  10. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  11. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  12. Thinly slice the apples into horizontal rings, about 1/2-inch thick.
  13. Place the apple rings in a bowl filled with 2 cups water and 2 Tbls. lemon juice. Set aside.
  14. Combine the remaining 2 cups water and 2 Tbls. lemon juice with the sugar in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
  15. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until the mixture comes to a boil, stirring frequently to dissolve the sugar.
  16. Add the apples and cook for 1 to 2 minutes or until the mixture returns to a boil.
  17. Using tongs, remove the apples from the syrup and place them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  18. Pat the apples dry with a double layer of paper towels.
  19. Bake for 1 hour or until the apple rings are dry.
  20. If the apple rings are not dry after 1 hour, turn off the oven and allow them to dry in the warm oven.
  21. Store in an airtight container for up to three days.
