Baked Fish With Lemon and Black Pepper

- 1 pound fish fillets shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon turmeric shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 clove garlic minced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- Place fish in a medium bowl and sprinkle with salt, turmeric, cumin, black pepper and garlic.
- Toss well to coat then cover and marinate 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Preheat oven to 400 then coat bottom of square baking dish with vegetable oil.
- Place fish in a single layer inside baking dish and pour marinade on top.
- Bake uncovered for 25 minutes then sprinkle with lemon juice 5 minutes before serving.
