Clams in Cilantro Broth

- 1/2 cup olive oil shopping list
- 6 cloves garlic, sliced shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1/2 cup white wine shopping list
- 3 dozen clams shopping list
- 1 bunch cilantro, leaves and thin stems coarsely chopped shopping list
How to make it
- heat the oil in a large heavy skillet over median heat. add the garlic and cook, shaking the pan once or twice, just until it starts to turn golden, about 3 minutes. Add the hot pepper and wine. Add the clams, bring the liquid to a boil, and cook 2 to 3 min. Stir in the cilantro, cover the pan, and cook, shaking the pan, until the clams are open, about 4 min. Ladle the clams and broth into shallow bowls and serve immediately, discarding any clams that dont open. Serve with white rice i usally put rice all together
