Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup jasmine or other white rice
  • 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 1 tsp mace blades (or 1/4 - 1/2 tsp ground mace)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Salt, to taste (I used 1/4 tsp)

Directions
  1. In a medium saucepan bring water, rice, cardamom, mace, cinnamon and salt to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, making sure rice doesn't stick.
  2. Add condensed milk and vanilla and cook another 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove cinnamon stick.
  3. Serve warm or cold. Will thicken as it cools.

Hi! I am glad you enjoyed it but please provide a direct link back to the original recipe, please.

I'll see if I can find a place to place html. It's rather limited on this site. Let me see what I can do. Apologies.

I love Coconutlime's site...
