Fillet Of Beef With Red Pepper Butter Recipe
This recipe comes from my neighbor. He is a great cook and this is one he makes to impress his girlfriends. We were the recipient of this meal about 3 weeks ago and it was yummy. He served it with grilled asparagus and roasted potatoes. Yummy.

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup butter softened
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper finely chopped
  • 3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 2 beef tenderloin steaks approximately 2-1/2” thick

Directions
  1. Combine first 4 ingredients stirring well then shape into 4 rounds then cover and chill until firm.
  2. Place beef tenderloin steaks on a rack in broiler pan.
  3. Broil 5-1/2” from heat with door partially opened for 6 minutes.
  4. Turn steaks over and top each with a butter round then broil 6 additional minutes.
  5. Turn steaks over and transfer to a serving platter then top with remaining butter rounds.
